The Russian Spy days of the Cold war are long over now thankfully. But there are reports that there a Russian Sleeper Spy ring has been uncovered in the New Jersey/New York Area. This is really disturbing as these are insidious means to infiltrate and undermine our way of life.
We, the US supposedly has been doing this for years and years. Educating well and sending folks to charm school to be able to integrate with adversarial countries. All of this effort in order to help to sway public opinion.

The death of of 92 year old West Virginia Senator Robert Byrd (D) will bring about a heated battle over his seat between the Dems and Republicans. But when is the race going to happen? The liberals want his seat to be under consideration in the 2012 race so they can slide in a Democrat now. The Conservatives are arguing that the wording of the bill where is uses the word “next,” is meaning the next election.
